Next weekend from July 16th to 18th “the Mexican” Luis Michael Dörrbecker will start his next race in the Formula Renault 2000 Italy at the Misano Adriatico race track in Italy.
The track has a width of 14 meters and is 4.18 kilometers long.
The Formula Renault Italy, with formula cars and Renault Sport 2000 ccm engines of over 200 horse powers:
Michael had a training day this weeks Tuesday with his Team Costa Rica by Facondini Racing in Misano.
His pit was side by side with Motorcycle World Champion Valentino Rossi who had his first come back to the track after a terrible crash.
Michael’s coach Piero Rodarte and the owner of Team Costa Rica, Eduardo Aguilar, were very happy with the training session under the extreme Italian summer heat of about 40 degrees centigrade.
The track showed tremendous grip and exhausted the drivers. Still Michael managed to test around 380 kilometers over the day, showing lap times close to the best drivers of the Formula Renault 2000 Italy Series!
Anxious waiting for the next weekend to come, far away from his home country Luis Michael will receive part of his family and friends watching his race !
